Who we are
RetireWisely ("we") operates a free service that matches Canadians planning for retirement with
vetted, independent financial advisors. We are a referral and marketing service, not a financial advisory firm.
What we collect
- Quiz answers: region, retirement timeline, savings range, account types, current advice situation, priorities, and meeting preference.
- Contact details: name, email address and phone number, and your chosen call time.
- Newsletter and waitlist signups: email address and the consent you gave.
- Technical data: referring page and campaign tags (UTM parameters) used to understand how you found us.
How we use it
- To match you with one advisor and arrange your introductory call.
- To contact you by phone or email to confirm and coordinate that introduction (with your consent — CASL).
- To send the Monthly Retirement Brief if you subscribed. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To improve the service, in aggregate and de-identified form.
Who we share it with
Your quiz answers and contact details are shared with one matched advisor only, and only when you
book a call. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with lists of firms. Service providers
(scheduling, email, hosting) process data on our behalf under contract.
How we're paid
Participating advisors pay us a referral fee only if you choose to become their client. This does not change the
fees you pay any advisor.
Your choices and rights
- Withdraw consent to be contacted at any time.
- Ask what information we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion.
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link in that email.

Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and protect it
with appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.
